MAKE MARCH MATTER
Thanks to everyone who joined us during the month of March to Make March Matter benefiting CHLA.
BLANKET BRIGADE FOR CHLA
The Blanket Brigade was out in full force — wrapping and delivering warm blankets to children spending their holidays at the hospital this year.
CONEJO VALLEY BASKETBALL
Led by NBA Veteran Don MacLean, The Conejo Valley Basketball Club held a fundraiser for their league to help raise money to help patients smile at CHLA.
REMOTE CONTROL CARS
Change 4 Children’s was able to purchase three of these mini cars for transporting kids in an exciting way inside of CHLA. Thanks for your support! Small change adds up to big things®.
PROJECT GO KART
Change 4 Children’s was able to sponsor portable Go Karts to entertain the patients during their treatments.
ENCINO FAMILY FESTIVAL
The Encino Family Festival is where the community of Encino comes together. They meet, raise awareness of services and businesses in their community and in this case, funds for CHLA.
2018-2020 SCHOOL CAMPAIGNS
Schools from around Los Angeles came together to support CHLA in a school challenge! Everyone wins when we pull together as a community.
ENCINO LITTLE LEAGUE
Thanks to the support of Encino Little League, a valley institution for over 65 years, we were able to engage support from the roughly 750 players and over 50 teams to support child life services and innovation initiatives at CHLA. p patients smile at CHLA.
LIFE IS GREAT
We are excited to be the beneficiary charity for the Pi Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Pi (AEPi) fraternity at the University of Wisconsin – Madison’s 4th annual ‘Life is Great’ event. The celebration will be held on April 16th, 2022 with live music and local businesses participating.
AEPi’s goal is to raise $35,000 this year for our Foundation. In turn, we will be donating 100% of the funds to the Child Life Services Department at the American Family Children’s Hospital located in Madison, Wisconsin.
ONCE UPON A ROOM
This month, we are partnering with our friends at the nonprofit, Once Upon A Room. They bring hope and joy to a child’s hospital stay through personalized hospital room makeovers, decorating and seasonal events and programs.
We are joining them by not only decorating rooms, but matching donations up to $25,000 from March 15 – April 15, 2022.
